LADY PARTS’ NEXT GUEST IS…

Lady Parts is so very proud to announce our next guest. She is the writer who brought you one of the greatest lesbian love stories in television history; she stands behind a groundbreaking lesbian webseries; she is the one who is responsible for the fact that we are married today.

Jill Lorie Hurst, headwriter of the longest running soap opera in the history of American television, “Guiding Light” (and Emmy Award Winner for best writing on the show), co-created the lesbian couple Otalia, Olivia and Natalia, played by the magnetic Crystal Chappell and Jessica Leccia, and brought together hundreds of fans from all over the world in a fandom unlike any other. After GL was canceled, Hurst went on to become a writer on Chappell’s “Venice,” the first webseries to ever win a Daytime Emmy and star Chappell and Leccia again.

If you are a purple person (an old-time fan of Otalia), then you know all about what we’re talking about. But if you are not, fear not! WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED!

YOU CAN WATCH THE ENTIRE OTALIA STORY FROM BEGINNING TO END on The Otalia Channel on YouTube. You can also catch up with the first two seasons of Venice on YouTube, as well. (Seasons 3 and 4 are available on Vimeo. Details on the VenicetheSeries website). So, get started now and we’ll see you back here on April 7th!

Here is a little taste of Otalia, which I myself have created. Start falling in love!
